To begin, get the mod file from a reputable website, such as Nexus Mods, which has all of the best Civilization 6 mods available on the platform. Once the file has been downloaded, locate it in your downloads folder or wherever it was saved and unzip it. The mod’s files will be located in the unzipped folder.

Navigate to your Documents folder and copy or cut this folder. Look for Sid Meier’s Civilization 6 folder containing a modifications folder. Copy the mod folder and paste it into this folder.
