Moss and Monsters Mod
The main feature of the Moss and Monsters mod is a new biome called the Mossy Forest, made up of Ancient Trees, Azalea, and Moss blocks. The new creatures in this biome include Moss Crabs, Moss Munchers, and Tree Spirits.
You can even tame and ride the Moss Crabs, which are massive. To summon the Tree Spirits, you’ll need to use Moss Catalysts. The mod also adds new armor and weapons.
Better Combat Mod
Better Combat adds a combat system inspired by Minecraft Dungeons. The most noticeable change comes to animations, with different animations being alternated between. Other changes include improved weapon collision, swinging through grass, and dual-wield combinations.
Gaggle of Golems Mod
Gaggle of Golems mod adds seven golems into Minecraft, which can all be summoned by building small structures. The golems include Redstone, Copper, Melon, Furnace, Icy, Magma, and Stone. These golems will attack hostile entities in different ways, making them perfect for patrolling your bases or villages. The Stone Golem is the cheapest to make, while the Furnace Golem is the most expensive.
Structural Statues Mod
Structural Statues add about 20 statues to Minecraft, made up of blocks. They spawn commonly, so you won’t have any problem finding them. You can mine these statues, which might be helpful for your builds.
Balanced Crates Mod
Balanced Crates add nine new storage crates to Minecraft, mostly made of different woods, with crafting recipes for each. One unique thing about this mod is that when you look inside a crate, it remains visibly open until manually closed. Also, they have 44 storage slots, which is more than standard chests.
Nock Enough Arrows Mod
The Nock Enough Arrows expands on Archery in Minecraft, adding 23 new arrows to be crafted inside the Fletching Table. Some interesting arrows like the Hookshot Arrow that leashes hit entities, Teleportation Arrows that will teleport the player wherever it lands, and Repulsive Arrows that will cause nearby entities to run away.
This mod also includes a Quiver, which can hold five stacks of arrows at once, and some new enchantments.
Dark Grove Village Mod
This mod adds a new village to Minecraft, the Dark Grove Village, which can be found naturally or by obtaining a map from a cartographer. The village has a different style from Vanilla Villages and some new buildings, with their own villagers and professions like the Wizard, Beekeeper, and Coppersmith.
Zombie Mobs Mod
Zombie Mobs mod introduces zombified versions of many Minecraft creatures, such as chickens, cows, foxes, wolves, goats, dolphins, and even pandas. They’re hostile to players, non-zombified versions of themselves, and villagers.
You can find them naturally spawning during the night. Still, regular mobs can also become zombified if they die during the night. Zombified animal versions have unique traits, making them different from the regular ones.
